How Tory end up in majority?
How Tory end up in majority?
I would like to believe that in UK you cannot falsify a general election, at least not that much like in Romania, however I don’t understand how this party still exist in the political life in UK.
What normal person can still vote for them is beyond me.
In UK you can see the difference between parties very easily. The Conservative’s are with the big business, Labour with the working class and Lib-Dem depending on the wind ( and there are strong winds in UK).
If in 1979 when Baroness Thatcher won the majority in the Parliament, we can say that the people had enough with the social life and with the closed shops, and they wanted a change. Baroness Thatcher had a good card to play and she won.
But now in 2010, how come the same party and same leader ( apart from gender ) which destroyed the peoples power, managed to win the election we can only draw two simple yet terrifying conclusions.
They rig the elections.
Or maybe people really forgot why The Baroness Thatcher had in December 1980 only 23% job approval.
Well let’s see :
1 – She reduced by 70% the unions power.( Attacking the people rights to negotiate better pay deals and working conditions. )
2 – She enforced the well knowing pool tax ( Showing that a human is nothing more to them then a “thing” that you buy from shop)
3 – She privatised every service and even council house, that she could get her hands on ( Attacking the people who need it them most)
4 – She introduced the 90% tax on petrol extraction ( Raising the price of fuel and consequently raising the price of everything else.)
This are the most notorious things the Iron Lady did. There could be more just ask your parents or grandparents.
So why do people still vote a Tory candidate?
I’m not saying that the Labour Party is the ideal party, they have proved unfortunately many times that they are not 100% controlled by the Unions, but Tory’s on the other hand have proved every time they won the majority in the British Parliament that they are controlled by the fat Cats.
And that they don’t really care about the majority of the people.
Any political party must have in mind the well being of the corporations but also the well being of the people who work in this companies. Like it or not the private sector and the public one are and they will always be connected.
Any Council worker will use private sector to buy stuff or buy services, as well a manager in a big Corporation will use the Council services.
You cannot destroy a sector by redundancies’ or pay reductions and expect to get more money into the public budget.
The same applies to saying that will be better if UK will withdraw from the European Union. UK has invested a lot into this Union and if were to withdraw now it will reflect on the living prices straight away.
UK doesn’t have everything that she needs at home.
Mostly because of the policy created by the Baroness Thatcher in her ruling years.
Coming back to question. Who votes Tory?
Are there that many billionaires in UK?
And if not then they must’ve bought the elections with money.
I’m sorry if this offends anyone but this is how I see it.
